After shunning yoga years ago after a series of bad sessions due to poor instructors (that I paid for!), I’ve rediscovered the benefits of regular yoga workouts through Yoga to the People (completely free in NYC!). I found that it complimented my strength and core training by really emphasizing stretching of the muscles and reaching parts of my body that I don’t usually work out during the week. I can feel it in my body when I miss a couple of yoga sessions. In fact, I’m feeling it now. Ready to pull out my pretty pink mat to get to work!
